Scantronic 80HE kits are single-box security alarm solutions designed for houses and small-to-medium-sized commercial installations. The kit pairs peripherals, including detectors and control devices, with a hybrid, expandable 80-zone control panel to ensure you have everything required for a complete installation.
As a hybrid (wireless and/or wired) panel, the 80HE is backwards and forwards compatible with Eaton's full range of radio peripherals, should you wish to expand your burglar alarm system in future.
Notably, the Scantronic 80HE control panel features a built-in ethernet port, making it quick and easy to connect your system to the free-to-use SecureConnect™ smart security cloud.
What's included in a Scantronic 80HE kit?
The Scantronic 80HE, formerly the i-on40H, is a wireless and/or wired control panel with 40 inbuilt zones, expandable to a total of 80 zones. With a built-in ethernet port, the Scantronic 80HE arrives ready for immediate use with Eaton's SecureConnect™ smart security cloud.
Our surface-mounted keypads are small but powerful, featuring two zones and a built-in proximity tag reader. A choice of wired (KEY-KPZ) or wireless (KEY-2R-KPZ) is available, adding flexibility to your installation.
The wireless DET-2R-PIR offers Grade 2 protection and a 5-year battery life, powered by readily available AA batteries. Pet tolerance (up to 25kg) can be configured at the detector or, when using Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR), from the keypad.
Designed for perimeter protection, the DET-2R-DC-W consists of two components: the sensor (normally mounted on the door or window frame) and the magnet. When the door or window opens, the two devices separate, triggering the sensor.
Saving time and effort by avoiding the use of a pin number, proximity tags (PROXTAGPK5) can be used to set and unset an intruder system. Each Scantronic 80HE user may have their own proximity tag.
Ready for use with the Scantronic 80HE, Eaton SecureConnect™ is a smart intruder alarm solution that keeps installers and their customers protected. Our installer cloud and end-user app are free to approved installers and their clients, with no restrictions on the number of paired systems.
