Video: Fit for Industry 4.0 - Digitization of new and existing machines in production

Together with its partner T-Systems, Eaton has tackled the digitization of its plants and the connection to the Predictive Maintenance Portal. The Predictive Maintenance Portal was awarded the Industry 4.0 Innovation Portal by readers of VDE Verlag.

Testing with an 80-year-old facility in Germany made up of both new and old machinery, we’ve worked to digitize machinery with a goal of using the data generated to develop cloud based predictive maintenance scenarios for each machine to increase plant productivity.
