Harpreet Saluja

Harpreet Saluja is senior vice president, Corporate Development and Planning for Eaton, a global intelligent power management company.

Harpreet was appointed to her current role in November 2013 and is responsible for leading the global corporate development and planning function. She reports to the CFO and leads Eaton’s corporate strategy and global mergers and acquisitions activity. She has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and transformation through M&A during her tenure, leading over 70 transactions globally.

Harpreet joined Eaton’s corporate development department in1998 and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout more than 25 years at the company, including vice president beginning in 2008. Prior to joining Eaton, she worked at Tenneco Automotive with roles in International Business Development and Global Integration.

She holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s in law and a bachelor’s in psychology and mathematics from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India.

Harpreet joined the First American Funds Board in 2023 as an independent trustee. Harpreet’s non-profit activities include serving on the Board of Directors for Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU). She has served on boards in various capacities that include strategic planning, community and equity committees.
