What do you find most exciting about your work at Eaton?

At Eaton, I am most excited by the multi-faceted nature of my job - communicating and connecting with teams and managers from different departments and factories. This collaborative approach encourages open discussion and the sharing of information so that we are better positioned to deal with any technical issue that may arise.

What keeps you motivated at work?

Teamwork is central to everything we do at Eaton. We've grown as a team by helping and learning from each other’s mistakes, empowering each other as we progress. It is this unity and mutual respect that keep me going at work.

Over my 23 years of service with Eaton, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many projects that have allowed me to grow and improve as a power management professional. My journey with Eaton has allowed me to work across the region, from starting with an attachment to a distributor in South Korea in 1997, to becoming the regional service lead for South East Asia in 2004. My proudest achievement since then has been taking over as the East Asia regional service lead in 2014 to support and guide our teams in Taiwan and South Korea.

How has the power management industry evolved over the past 25 years?

Power management has improved dramatically in terms of reliability, energy savings and operational efficiency over the past 25 years. Not to mention that these advancements are all also available at a significantly lower cost which has fallen as well. Our challenge now is to focus on improving power efficiency and availability to eliminate downtime and manage our impact on the environment better. This is a mission that we will continue to work on with the broader goal of improving the quality of lives and the environment. 

What do you think the future holds for Eaton?

To me, Eaton will continue to be a market leader in the power management industry for years to come. It is our culture of investing in talent and continuing to develop new solutions to meet the market’s needs that will set us apart and keep us at the top of our game.
