Our backend platform no longer meets the technological standards required and will be shut down on 1st September 2025. Please find the instructions here to continue monitor your device.

Setting local mode from the Cloud

Before going any further, you must first check that the Lock Cloud unit update option is disabled. Blocking this remote update will force you to do the update locally.

Before switching in Local Mode:

·         Check if the last FW version is installed and his device is up to date.

·         Save the local IP address of the device for future access through your browser.

If the xStorage Home has the latest firmware version installed, disconnect your unit from xStorage Cloud.

To do this, you to to be connected to the machine either via the Wi-Fi access point or by using the IP address or the device.

For example:

·         Access locally to the unit and use IP address ex 192.168.0.126

·         Connect to your unit through the IP address (When the unit is connected to the cloud)

·         Once the IP address is entered in the browser address field, enter your username and password

·         Because your machine is connected to the xStorage Cloud, you arrive directly to this web page.

Choose "Disconnect from xStorage Cloud" to switch in Local Mode.
Now you are in local mode

Accessing your unit from the local Network

From your local network
Enter the previously saved local IP address in your preferred browser.

From a direct ethernet connection (ETH) to xStorage Home
Enter 192.168.2.254 in your preferred browser. Please refer to the user manual for more information.

From a direct Wi-Fi connection (WLAN0) to xStorage Home
SSID: xstorage
Password: P4svFJA9
Enter 192.168.3.99 in your preferred browser. Please refer to the user manual for more information.

Setting local mode from the unit

If the unit is connected to the cloud (applicable before and after September 1st 2025), the following message will appear as you try to connect:

Please proceed with “Disconnect from xStorage Cloud”.
You will then be able to login on your unit and monitor it locally.

How to extract your data from your local web server or Cloud web server?

Before going any further, you must log in to your xStorage.

1.1 From the screen of your user interface

1.2 On the left selection bar, click on the chart icon

1.3 Click on Export icon.

•         Define the Export start date and the Export end date in using the schedule.

The Granularity of the data export is 5 minutes and can’t be changed.

The last action is to define which data you want to export.

1.4 Next step, click on Export Button

The result is a .csv file downloaded in your laptop.

What to do if I forgot my username or password?
Try using the default credentials:

What to do if I can't load the login screen?
Please try to connect to any other method first. If the issue persists on the other methods, please contact support.

How can I monitor my device?
You can monitor your unit locally with the IP address of your device through the web local UI. If you notifications and remote monitoring, you have the opportunity to use Home Assistant with a community plugin. All instructions are available in the community plugin webpage.
